Alex & Eder

United by their passion for Basque cuisine, Alex and Eder have shaped Txikito into a beloved Chelsea gem since 2008. This husband-wife duo—Eder from Bilbao, Alex with Argentine roots—pioneered authentic Basque dining in NYC. Through meticulous curation and heartfelt hospitality, they’ve created a warm space where guests can savor the soulful essence of Basque home cooking.

Saint Julivert

Saint Julivert, a petite fisherie and wine bar, draws inspiration from coastal ingredients and seaside wine regions. Chef Alex and Eder's creative cooking cleverly incorporates multiple cultural references into a seafood centric menu that defies categorization. Opened in 2018, Saint Julivert is a neighborhood jewel, quietly located just steps away from La Vara.

La Vara

La Vara is our vibrant celebration of the Moorish and Jewish legacies in Spanish cuisine. Opened in 2011, La Vara is a marriage of chef Alex and Eder’s respective backgrounds, producing an ever-evolving improvisational menu that is original, authentic, and contemporary—rooted in rich history yet always moving forward.
